What was your favorite part of the contest?

1) Winning the wonderful prize

2) Feeling loved and cared for by all of the people that voted for us! It was an incredible feeling, and a wonderful way to get geared up for our wedding!!

What was the biggest challenge?

Going up against a great competitor!!

What was your strategy for getting people to vote for you?

Not being shy about asking them to vote. Most people were excited to help out because the prize was so great. We also individually messaged lots of our facebook friends to get their vote.

Is there anything you would change in your strategy?

No, we just wished we started the contest when it opened. We joined about a week late and had lots of catching up to do. Just keep your eyes on the prize and always be brainstorming new ways to connect to people!

How did you keep friends, family, and acquaintances committee for the duration of the contest?

The contest is all that we talked about during that time, so they couldn’t get away from it! hehe. After a while though, lots of our friends were voting almost every hour because everyone loves a good competition and they wanted to see us win! Lots of thanks, thanks and more thanks helps too!!

Do you have any words of wisdom for this years entrants?

No matter how far behind you are, don’t loose hope because anything can happen. You will be blown away by the support you receive! Also, get some sleep before the contest starts…….you are going to need it!! haha
