First and foremost, thank you to everyone who has been supporting Lumen Photography! It’s weddings such as Pierce and Greta’s that really makes it apparent how lucky I am. The best way to start this post is probably from the beginning! I met Pierce one of my first few days at St. Olaf College and along the way, I also met Greta. These two are one of those couples that just mesh perfectly and you can tell in many ways – especially their awesome sense of humor (i.e. the little car picture). Anyhoo, despite it being a blazing hot day in Denver, CO, we managed to get some phenomenal photos in some really neat places.
The day started off with Greta and her entourage getting their hair and makeup done before hopping over to the church where her parents got married (as a quick aside, I think that sort of history is absolutely awesome). From the prep photos to the group photos, everyone was on their game! The guys, of course, looked handsome. The gals, indubitably, looked gorgeous. The ceremony proceeded without a hitch and was extra special because Pierce’s mother had the privilege of being a part of the ceremony. From there, we hopped over the History Colorado Center (yes, the order of words is correct), for the reception. Let me tell you, it was an absolutely gorgeous venue. Once again, a big thanks to Pierce and Greta for having me out to Colorado and giving me the opportunity to be their adventurous wedding photographer. Also, thanks to all their friends and family who made me feel like more than just a wedding photographer and more as a part of the family! Enjoy, and if you enjoyed the pics, leave a comment here or on the facebook fan page!
