what a hectic past month, with weddings every weekend and lots of other photography sessions during the week I have not been as diligent about blog posts as i should have been – for that i apologize. but, that’s in the past. i have here sara and barry’s wedding post! as you may recall from their engagement session, they are an awesome couple who obviously love each other very much. i really think that shows through in this wedding!
the day started off over at the scherer gardens in eagan, mn. keep in mind, this was a few weeks ago when it was abnormally hot, sara and barry’s wedding was no exception. despite the high temps and bright sun, everyone was in a wonderful mood as we started up the bride and groom portrait session. the scherer gardens were absolutely gorgeous giving me many options to bring sara and barry, my two personal favs from the day were the dock photos and the pics under the tree canopy with all the moss! phenomenal to say in the least. as soon as we wrapped up the b&g session, we immediately switched gears into the bridal party and family part of the day. everyone was uber nice and you could tell how much everyone really cared for sara and barry – not to mention how comfortable they were just joking around with the bride and groom one could tell what awesome friends and family they had. after that though, we proceeded with the ceremony where sara and barry symbolized their union with the mixing of the sand! i loved the colors that they choose as they were super bright and spunky. because of the heat, the bridal party, after a gorgeous ceremony, zipped on over to a local bar where sara and barry spent some time together during their dating stage! with everyone cooled off and relaxed the convoy set-off towards the reception center! ohh, and before i forget to mention, sara and barry were driving in this shweeeet mercedes benz that they had rented for their special day, it looked pretty darn-tootin sweet! at the reception center, dinner was started off quickly with a delicious assortment of food available for any and all tastes (my personal fav were the baked potatoes!! delish!) throughout dinner there were speeches and many clinking of the glasses to get the newly weds to kiss! overall, it was a great day that was a ton of fun. to sara and barry… y’all make an awesome couple and i hope that your married lives together are long and prosperous!
without further babbling on my part… the pics!
