Our most recent adventurous session involved the Larry Fitzgerald, the wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals.  Larry Fitzgerald, originally from Minneapolis, is often involved in giving back to the community he came from.  He  partnered with lenovo to provide 50 tablets to Adelante College Prep (ACP) with the hopes of giving back to the community of Minneapolis.  He flew in for the morning and toured the school.  While at ACP observed the 7th grade class using their new tablets to find primary sources for their upcoming paper.  Additionally, Larry Fitzgerald took the time to give a short speech on the opportunities that education provide to you.  In my opinion, if you have the means to give back, you definitely should.  By coming and providing a tangible example of a success story and giving resources to high performing schools that have a proven track record of excellence, Larry Fitzgerald is making the Minneapolis Community a better place.  Big thanks to the Minneapolis Foundation, Adelante College Prep, and Larry himself for making Minneapolis a better place for us all.

 

All-in-all, a pretty great afternoon.  It was all topped off by the fact that he complimented me and how I dressed really well.  Coming from him, it absolutely made my week.  If you need someone to cover an event for you, make sure to contact us and let us know – we love working for a good cause!
