The Lumen Photography family is potentially growing! You know my whippet-mix puppy Jessie (and if you don’t you can learn about her here). At the moment, I’m considering getting a new puppy-friend for Jessie and myself. The breeder is the reputable and well known Kay Nierengarten of Northwind Whippets. After my most recent adventurous wedding at Superior Shores Resort in Two Harbors, we were able to drop by Northwind to check out Kay’s latest litter. After a long and hard weekend of shooting, there is nothing like being able to play with a bunch of five week old puppies! As soon as they woke up, the puppies made a mad dash for mom to be one of the first to get lunch. From there, the mischief began. Puppies were wrestling, chewing on their siblings ears, exploring under the couches, and more. My personal favorite moments were when they all decided to pile on me when I laid down. Thirteen puppies chewing on my beard, hair, and crawling all over me just made me VERY happy. Evan, absolutely stunning puppy photos! Love each and every one of them. Great way to share the precious moments you had with the pups. I hope you get a whippet from Kay, my husband and I added a second whippet to our family and Kay selected a perfect match for us. Love having two whippets.
