I love traveling and I love people. This session combines the best of both worlds. As a MN Destination Wedding Photographer, I had the opportunity to travel down to Houston, Texas to photograph an awesome engagement session with an incredible couple. Day one’s outdoor shoot got cut a little short because of rain but it ended up being ok because we got some delicious food instead. Later that evening, because cooking is so near and dear to Kristina and Jimmy, they decided to having a cooking themed evening session. They made some delicious, cooked from scratch, Italian food. All the while, we got some adorable photos of them being… themselves! While on a run earlier in the day, I had the opportunity to find a neat little piece of installation art at a park called Discovery Green in downtown Huston. We couldn’t go that evening because of the rain, but we made our way down the next evening. Despite and absolutely PACKED park (I’m talking could barely walk between people packed) we managed to get some amazing photos in this little light globe installation art piece.
