I love getting the opportunity to travel for weddings. It’s always a joy and challenge to find the hidden gems in a city. Places that would perhaps not be well photographed – a chance to give a city a once over with my own adventurous brand of photography per se. Anyways, this last weekend we did a set of Iowa City Wedding Photos with the happy couple, Christina and Andrew! Despite a long drive and some chilly weather, what an amazing wedding. The afternoon started off with a preparation photos at the Iowa City Sheraton. From there we did a first look and immediately went to our first location, the old city capitol building. These were our class photos, afterwards we went to the warehouse are of town for some pics in front of an awesome teal wall and old pallet boards. Nontraditional yes but awesome photos nonetheless! The ceremony and reception both went off wonderfully and the evening ended with a delicious choose your own adventure meal. I don’t like to prattle on that much and prefer to let my images do the speaking; so, without further ado, Andrew and Christina’s wedding photos!
