The Como Zoo and Conservatory is a pretty neat place and very beautiful. Our latest session with Shelby and Josten was an adventurous Como Park Zoo Engagement Session. I had the opportunity to meet Shelby through her older sister, Hannah, who I attend St. Olaf College with. When Shelby asked me to be her wedding photographer, I was ecstatic cause I always knew she was a neat gal and her fiance, Josten, is an equally awesome guy. This session is filled with a lot of genuine laughter and smiles which makes my job so much easier. The morning started off early, early enough that the zoo wasn’t even open for us to get into unfortunately so we mosied around the grounds nearby and “warmed-up” for the rest of the session. It’s always awkward the first time you step in front of a camera and I say… “NOW KISS!” We quickly got by that portion of the session into the part where their true personalities shown through. Take a look through and enjoy the images.
