heyo all,

i want to introduce y’all to a super neato couple – Erica and Bret!  I met them a couple of weeks ago while they were working on finishing up their plans for their wedding.  i was actually super flattered when they told me that they saw the work i had done for some friends of theirs named matt and alisa back in the day (i.e. a yearish ago).  anyhoo, right away i could tell how well erica and bret worked together.  meeting them for the first time was a breeze cause they were both such laid-back and chill people!  moving on to this last sunday, we decided to do their engagement session in a place very dear to their hearts – the soap factory in the st. anthony’s main area in minneapolis.  they told me how it was where they first kissed and decided to to start their relationship!  i won’t go into all the cutesy details but suffice to say that it involved bicycles, art, a lil’ pbr, some one on one time and shabang it’s all history from there!  we started off the session right in front of the soap factory and then mossied our way around back towards the mississippi.  after taking some awesome photos behind the building of the two of them, and learning that erica was a gymnast back in the day while she was balancing on the abandoned railroad tracks, we managed to discover the awesome ruins of the buildings in that area.  i for one, am someone who frequents that area and never new what a neat, eclectic, and photograph-able area it is.  bret and erica kept their mojo going all the while we explored the ruins of the area and helped me get some phenomenal photos of them.  you can tell how much they love each other and what a cute couple they are!  we also took a quick detour down the lower paths where i discovered what neato shoes both erica and bret were wearing (not to mention bret’s sweet socks); so, i insisted that we take some pics of those too!  overall, i had a super-great time just chilling with erica and bret and can’t wait till their wedding date in august!  if the awesomeness that they displayed during their e-sesh is any indication then their weddings is gonna be amazing.  erica and bret, i hope you love the pics!
