heyo everyone,

hope your week hasn’t been too stressful and whatnot.  today’s offerings are from an engagement session i had last weekend.  i’d really like you to meet sara and mark.  both are really cool people.  they’ve known each other for over two years now and are sealing the deal this upcoming month.  and boy oh boy am i excited for this one.  sara told me mark is gonna be wearing a kilt!  that’s going to create some awesome photos in and of itself… not even counting the love that you can obviously see sara and mark have for each other.

the weather last saturday was kinda confusing.  it was kinda overcast with some moments of uber-bright sunlight and towards the end… it started to rain?  ya gotta love minnesota weather, at least it’s not 40 below yet, right?  we started off at this little park over by lake calhoun.  there was this neato bridge that i knew we would get some fun photos on.  so, that’s where we started.  we got some cute pics on that bridge inbetween all the runners that were running by.  there were quite a few and it was hard to keep the energy up when we were constantly being interupted but i’ve gotta give mad props to sara and mark it didn’t matter to them!  they got an excuse to kiss in public! : – )  we eventually mosied our way over to lake calhoun propper and got some great photos around the lake ranging from city scapes in the background to my personal favorite of the day… well two favorites… the two black and white photos right smack dab in the middle of the set.  the one where sara and mark are looking over the back of the bench… is just perfect with the one where the group of runners is running by being a great combination of humor and obvious love!  we eventually walked on back to the park with the bridge for a few more photos and then got the hell out of dodge because it was beginning to sprinkle just a tad!

overall a great day with some superb images!
