greetings and salutations constant reader,

i hope everyone has been having a phenomenal october.  as the last hurrah of the wedding season approaches, i did this family session with a good friend of mine, tom gordon.  i’ve known tom for quite a while, at least three or four years now as he use to coach my soccer team; now though, i have the privalage of coaching with him.  anyhoo, he asked me if i would be willing to photograph a family session for him as they hadn’t gotten any picture together for a while… and there were a few new additions to the family.  well i of course said yes!

fast forward a few weeks and i was at his house being introduced to his assorted family members.  it was great, they immediatley treated me like part of the family.  we plunged right into the session, it was a little bit cold out last sunday but not cold enough to deter good smiles (cheesy line right?).  it was a really fun time and i really appreciated how close tom’s entire family was.  we got some really good photos including some very unique images of tom’s nephew’s!  after we wrapped up the session they invited me to stay for dinner.  it’s was a blast just chilling with their family and trading fun stories.  such a unique family with a lot of great indivuals, one’s a cook, another is a lobyist, yet another makes her own stained glass windows (sweet huh?).  overall a day to remember, i hope my images do the gordons justice!
