hey again everyone,

today’s offerings are from this last weekends wedding.  a little background.  i’ve known mike since the beginning of my sophomore year when i joined him in the st. olaf sports info dept.  since then i’ve been helping him with a bunch of sports photography for st. olaf.  when mike asked if i would be interested in shooting his wedding i thought to myself… “duhhh yes!”  anyhoo, fast forward to this last saturday.  it was a long fifteen hour day but the end result was definitley worth it cause we got some epic images.

we started off at a local northfield salon called the buzz for the hair and then progressed on over to mike and audrey’s house for the make-up and whatnot.  after a quick snack there and some cute photos we took a jaunt over to the olaf campus for some formals.  we got really lucky as the weather was supposed to rain the day before and after… so we lucked out! : )  even the olaf chapel, which is a world renown hot-box, famous for making one sweat sitting down, was nice and cool.  after a short but sweet ceremony whose only hiccup, which was cause for some good-spirited laughter, was some trouble getting the ring on mike’s finger, we headed on over to the reception at the brackett’s crossing country club.

delicious food and a few bottles of wine helped to make a great evening even better as the first dance rolled around.  i was absolutley ecstatic with how the images turned out for the dance.  mike and audrey make such a cute couple that it’s nigh impossible to take a bad photo of them.  about five songs in, the live band (which was amazing) accidently blew a fuse.  not missing a beat though, they carried on accapella and acoustic to the general chagrin of everyone there.  everything was fixed up really quickly though and i can say that mike and audrey literally had the perfect day.  i look forward to seeing both of them around the st. olaf campus as i believe that they’re two of the greatest people down at olaf! : )
