What is better than being the adventurous wedding photographer for one of your longest friends?  Pretty much nothing!  I want to introduce you to Andrew and Laura, two of the most awesome people I know.  If you need a refresher, you can check out their St. Olaf Engagement Session Here.  This wedding was especially special because it was a New Years Eve wedding.  For those of you who don’t know, the high temperature that day was 1 degree (without windchill) with a low of 15 below (again, without windchill).  Despite the chilly weather, we went outside and got some awesome New Ulm Wedding Photography.  After our brief venture into the cold wilderness, we scrambled back to the church for some family photos and the ceremony.  I’m a huge fan when you see a few wet eyes during the ceremony, especially the grooms!  Then you definitely know they’re excited.  After the ceremony, we went over to the reception for some delicious food, heartfelt speeches, and crazy dancing!  One of my favorite parts of the evening was the midnight toast/kiss photos.  A new year with great company.  As a St. Olaf Alumni it’s phenomenal when you’re shooting a wedding filled with friends too.  FYI, the reception couples photos will be uploaded later this week, check back on the facebook page for a link!  Last but not least, are you getting hitched or looking for a professional photographer in the New Year?  Contact us now to get some info!  Thanks for reading.
