Happy Belated Fourth of July everyone! Today we have some adventurous Science Museum of Minnesota Wedding Photos. Well, not only the Science Museum but also the ever-beautiful St. Olaf Campus and Boe Chapel. Meet Chris and Melanie, two intrepid musicians and incredibly chill people! The most exciting thing as a wedding photographer is when you have a couple whose response to my question, “how about this idea for an adventurous wedding photo?” is always a resounding, “YES!”
The day started off down at St. Olaf College where we captured the preparation photos and ceremony! After the ceremony, we took some time and went down to the natural lands. We did everything from lying on the ground to climbing a tree (check out the behind-the-scenes photos here) and we got some crazy good photos because of it! After Olaf, we drove up to the Science Museum of Minnesota for the reception. The best thing there was the fact that there was a 15 piece big band for swing dancing and all-around awesomeness. Last but not least, both Chris and Melanie joined the band to play a few songs and take some solos!
