Wedding season is now in full swing, our first warm weather wedding of the year is this Silverwood Park Wedding Photos Session!  Meet Emily and Matt, our amazing couple.  I’ve alluded to this in the past, but there is no greater privilege than photographing the wedding of someone who you’ve known for a longtime.  I’ve had the privilege of knowing Emily since elementary school and through high school.  When she reached out and asked that I photograph her wedding with her fiance Matt Boss (absolutely awesome last name), there was no way I could say no.  They had their wedding at the beautiful Silverwood Park in St. Anthony, Minnesota.  The weather was as perfect as one could ask for (ok maybe a wee bit hotter than we would normally see in May but no big deal, it’s not snowing), everyone was in good spirits, and some amazing photos were about to be had.  My favorite parts of the day centered around the entertainment provided by Emily’s veil.  Being that it was windy, we got some whimsical photos of Emily and Matt being… Emily and Matt!  The other really neat portion centered around the fact that the ceremony site abutted against a building with huge glass windows.  This gave me a rare opportunity to position myself for a great photo of Matt and Emily (you’ll know which one because Emily has a great smile as she looks at her future husband in the photo).  I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to photograph and I hope they love the photos as much as I loved taking them!
