salutations and good tidings all,
this last weekend i had the privilege of doing a destination wedding down to raleigh, nc! ken and julia, along with their family, were a pleasure to be around. I flew down on thursday morning at 7 a.m… yea, early morning right? but it’s all good cause i love flying! anyhoo, back to what i was saying, ken and julia decided to have a small wedding of just a few friends and immediate family. the wedding was held at this awesome little bed and breakfast called the cameron park b & b. now, if you don’t already know this, raleigh can get pretty darn hot. the day of the wedding it got into the high 90’s with a humidity level to match. because of this, the ceremony was held at 9 a.m. even so it was already scorching!!!! the ceremony was really awesome though with a few tears here and there, along with some huge hugs, and a passionate kiss (or ten) from the newlywed couple i’d say it was turning into a kick-ass day. afterwords we went to get brunch at a local restaurant. i had, for the first time ever, gritz. the jury is still out on whether i like them or not but it was a great new experience nonetheless. the food at this place was great though and after a relaxing morning the wedding party moved back to the b & b for some champagne, cake, and conversation. all in all a great wedding day, a great weekend, and a wonderful couple. i just wanted to throw a huge thank you out to everyone there for basically treating me like part of the family. it seriously made for one of the most memorable weddings i’ve shot, i can only hope my images will be forever cherished by you and your family mr. and mz. honneffer. no more talk from me though, here are some pics of a great couple!
